How to add a Letting to the Griffin Property Co Website

Do you have a property to let, but are unsure how to get started? Don't worry. This article will outline the entire process from start to finish, ensuring you encounter no hurdles when putting your rental property on the market.

1. Open an account.

To list your property, you'll first need to create an account. From the Griffin Property Co homepage, look to the top right-hand corner, and click the button CREATE ACCOUNT.

2. Welcome to your dashboard.

Once you have created an account, you'll be put through to your dashboard. Here you can keep track of all the properties your either selling or letting, all the properties your interested in buying or renting, and all your messages.

3. Begin your property listing.

To start your listing, you can either look to the website header and click the TENANT/LANDLORD button and select LET YOUR PROPERTY from the drop-down menu. Or click the letting tab beneath the header, and scroll down to the large box that says, LET A PROPERTY.

4. The Package

Our online lettings package allows you to advertise your property to let for only £10, no strings attached. We offer complete transparency about our additional extras right from the start, ensuring you encounter no sneaky hidden costs later on.

If your property hasn't found a tenant in your first three months, don't stress! You can simply log into your Griffin Property Co account and renew the listing for another 3 months. You can repeat this process until you've found the perfect tenant for your property.

Our £10 lettings package includes:

• A listing on Zoopla, On the Market, and Prime Location.
• Full support from your own dedicated account manager. This means they are only a phone call away Monday to Friday 9am – 6pm, and 24/7 via email.
• Viewings are all placed under your control. Enquiries and viewing request are all sent to you via our unique messaging system, where you can confirm, cancel and re-arrange viewings to suit your convenience.
• We don't tie you into any contract. Our no obligation agreement guarantee means you can cancel anytime, hassle-free.

We also offer a range of optional extras, to make the process of letting out your property as smooth as possible, but more on that later.

5. Main Details

Now you can begin entering the main details about your rental property. This includes:

• Property address.
• Price per calendar month.
• Deposit amount.
• Listing status.
• Is DSS Accepted?
• The date the property is available.
• Is a guarantor required?
• Are pets allowed?

Once finished, click SAVE AND CONTINUE to move onto the next section. Or by clicking SAVE you can close and return to your listing later.

6. Property Details

Here you can add your own property photos or order professional photos, list some key features of your property to catch the eye of potential buyers, and add a full property description, including details about specific rooms. Don't worry if you haven't got your description right yet, you can always come back to it later – even after the property goes live.

7. Add-Ons

The next step is choosing your desired add-ons. We provide a variety of optional extras to make the process of letting your property as easy as possible. The optional add-ons we offer are:

• A listing on Rightmove – £10 (Per Calendar Month)
• Energy Performance Certificate - £75
• Gas Certificate - £75
• Tenancy Agreement - £25
• Tenant References - £25
• Collection of first month's rent and deposit - £25

8. Preview

Here is your opportunity to check how your property listing will look on our website, and let you know whether you need to go back and make any adjustments. If you're unsure about anything, and are want a second opinion, our phone lines are open Monday to Friday 9am – 6pm. We're always happy to advise what we think may be best when it comes to your listing.

If you are happy with your listing, and want your property to go live right away, click the box that states 'I agree for my property to go live.' Then, 'SAVE AND CONTINUE.'

9. Your Details

We're nearly there! All we need now is a little bit of information about you. Here you can upload some ID (so we comply with Anti-Money Laundering Regulations), and a document showing proof of your address.

Don't have the documents on hand? No problem. Just click SAVE, and when you do, you can pick up where you left off. Once you've uploaded your documents, click SAVE & PUBLISH CHANGES.

10. And you're finished!
